About Me
Amanda worked as an insurance professional for 15 years as a Business Services Manager and looked after 3 UK based offices overseeing all underwriting, recruitment, quality and training.
She always had an underlying interest in medicine so when an opportunity arose for voluntary redundancy, in 2005, she retrained at Southampton University to study a three-year podiatry degree.
She graduated in 2008 with a 2:1.
Amanda is married with two children and spends her time cycling, horse riding and gardening.
She spends numerous hours updating her podiatry knowledge and attending courses, these range from diabetes to neurology and biomechanics.
She is a member of the Health and Care Professions Council and the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and is recognised by most major insurance companies.
